Bin Sides

Bin Sides are available for the standard trailer sizes in three heights and can increase the standard trailer volume by up to more than four times it’s original volume. Suitable for bulky but light loading and for stopping loads blowing off through open raised sides.

FEATURES

Third Sheet – 300mm high
Third sheet bin sides give 600 off the deck. Doubles the depth of the standard trailer. Used commonly for bulk garden supplies. eg. bark, mulch, firewood. etc.

Half Sheet – 500mm high
Half sheet bin sides give 800 off the deck for even more depth.

Full Sheet – 1100mm high
Full sheet bin sides give 1400 off the deck. They are intended for light weight bulk materials eg. typical office/household rubbish, wood shavings, packaging, polystyrene, cardboard etc. Weekly dumping use.

Dismantable – bolt in front panel – assists getting in the galvanizing tank and makes it easily stored if removed

Note: Galvanized bin sides are only available as dismantable so they can fit into the galvanizing tank. It is expected that they will have twists, warps, wrinkles and possibly even the odd miss in the galvanizing which is normal and unavoidable. At 490° the galvanizing process causes extensive expansion on the area of the flat panel. This expansion must go somewhere and since the edges are fixed to a frame, the only area they can expand into is the flat panel areas. The degree of deformation depends on the speed with which the parts are lowered into the molten zinc and also the retraction rate and drainage. Galvanizing is out of our control and we cannot discount or accept returned parts due to disapproval about the finish. A non refundable deposit is required with galvanized bin sides at the time of order.
